Trivo AI Labs

Medha AI Cohort · Enrolling 2026

Learn AI. Build real projects.
Grow your skills.

Trivo AI Labs, an initiative by IIT Madras alumni, helps engineering students learn practical AI skills through clear, hands-on courses. From basic Python to building AI applications — every student finishes with real work they can show.

An IIT Madras alumni initiative

  • Six tracks
  • Five bundles
  • 16 to 64 teaching hours
  • College-paid cohorts from 100 students

01

Taught by practitioners

Designed and delivered by IIT Madras alumni who have shipped machine learning and AI products in industry.

02

Built for Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges

Simple language, realistic pacing and weekly plans that survive contact with a real academic calendar.

03

Project, not just a certificate

Every track ends with work a student can open, run and explain in a viva or an interview.

04

Honest about limits

No placement guarantees, no inflated claims. We put what we do not promise in writing, on this website.

02How it works

A simple path from zero to a finished project

Start where you are

Basic Python or no-code tools. We place students by what they can already do, not by which year they are in.

Learn by doing

Short guided sessions followed by hands-on practice every week. Concepts are introduced only when a task needs them.

Build something real

Each track ends in a working project, scoped so a student can genuinely finish it alongside their coursework.

Show your work

A GitHub repository, a short demo and practice explaining the project out loud in a viva-style review.

03Inside a track

What a typical week looks like

Every week follows the same rhythm, so students always know what is expected and departments always know what is happening.

Guided session
90 minutes, live. One concept introduced, then built in front of the class from an empty file.
Practice set
A short set of tasks tied directly to that session. Designed to take under two hours.
Project increment
One piece of the final project, added each week so nothing is left to the last fortnight.
Doubt clearing
An open slot for students who are stuck, before the next concept lands on top.
Department update
Attendance and completion figures shared with the coordinating faculty member.

04For colleges

Built for Indian engineering colleges

We use simple language, clear weekly plans and realistic expectations. Administrators get attendance and project records they can file. Students get skills they can actually use.

  • College-paid cohorts, minimum 100 students
  • Modular tracks that fit around exams and academic calendars
  • Attendance, completion and project reporting for internal and accreditation use
  • Written commitments about what we do and do not promise
  • A repeatable structure you can run again next semester

What colleges say

05Honesty

What we do not promise

Honest communication with colleges and students matters more to us than a stronger sales pitch.

  • We do not guarantee placements or job offers.
  • Outcomes depend on student attendance, effort and prior readiness.
  • We do not claim that every student will become an AI expert in a few weeks.
  • We focus on practical skills and projects that students can actually show.
06Questions

Common questions from colleges

Who are these AI programmes for?

They are built for engineering and degree college students in India, including students with no coding background. Tracks 1, 2 and 5 start from absolute basics, while Tracks 3 and 4 assume some programming comfort. Colleges usually run different tracks for different branches or year groups.

Do you guarantee placements or job offers?

No. We do not guarantee placements, job offers or internships, and we ask colleges not to present our programmes that way. What we commit to is structured teaching, hands-on practice and at least one project the student can open, run and explain.

Is there a minimum number of students?

Yes. Every track runs for college-paid cohorts of 100 students or more. This keeps the per-student price low and lets us staff the sessions properly. If your batch is smaller, write to us and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it work.

How are the sessions delivered?

Sessions are hands-on and delivered on campus or online, depending on what suits your calendar. Each week combines a short guided session with practice work students complete on their own machines or in the college lab.

What do students need to bring?

A laptop or access to a college computer lab, and a stable internet connection during sessions. All the tools we teach have free tiers, so students do not need to buy software or paid API credits to complete the core work.

Can the programme fit around our academic calendar?

Yes. The tracks are modular, so a 24-hour track can run as four hours a week for six weeks, or in a compressed block during a lighter part of the semester. We plan the schedule with your department before the cohort starts.

What does the college receive during and after the programme?

Attendance records, a weekly completion summary, and a project completion overview suitable for internal reporting, NAAC or NBA documentation. We hand these over at the end of the cohort in a format you can file directly.

Do students get a certificate?

Students who meet the attendance and project requirements receive a completion certificate from Trivo AI Labs naming the track and hours completed. It records what they actually did — we do not issue certificates for attendance alone.

How much does it cost?

Individual tracks run from ₹2,500 to ₹13,500 per student depending on length and depth, and bundles reduce that further. Prices are indicative for college-paid cohorts and are confirmed in a written quotation before anything starts.

How do we get started?

Send us your student numbers, branches, year groups and the months you have in mind. We will come back with a proposal covering the recommended track, schedule, pricing and deliverables. There is no cost or obligation at that stage.
