An IIT Madras alumni initiative
Why we started
Many engineering students in India hear about AI but never build anything real. Most campus programmes end with a certificate and little that a student can show or explain. We started Trivo AI Labs to change that. Our goal is simple: give students clear, practical courses that start from the basics and end with projects they can open, explain and be proud of. We focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges where strong teaching support and simple language matter most.

To help every attending student gain real AI skills and at least one project they can demonstrate. We do not promise jobs. We promise clear learning, practical projects and honest outcomes.
How we teach
Five decisions that shape every session we run.

Plain language
No jargon for its own sake. If a term is worth knowing we define it once, clearly, and then use it consistently.

Small, finishable scope
A project a student completes teaches more than an ambitious one they abandon in week four.

Explain it out loud
Students present their own work and answer questions on it. Understanding you cannot articulate is not understanding.

Honest reporting
Our completion figures reflect what happened, including the students who did not finish. Colleges can plan around real numbers.

Free tools only
Everything we teach runs on free tiers, so a student can keep working after the cohort ends without paying for anything.
Founders
Both founders teach. Neither of them is a full-time salesperson.

Co-Founder & Lead Instructor
IIT Madras alumnus with experience in Computer Vision and building production machine learning applications. Previously CTO and co-founder of an AI robotics startup, and ML Engineer working on real-world AI products.
Devanand Guntur
Co-Founder
IIT Madras alumnus specialising in data science, generative AI and product operations. Previously led AI content systems and prompt engineering teams, with experience building data pipelines and analytics at scale.

We focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 engineering colleges across India, where good teaching support makes the largest difference and where imported curricula tend to fit worst.
